ITAMCO and the Environment

ITAMCO seeks to be a responsible corporate citizen by positively impacting its community, both locally and globally. We have achieved this through various corporate-driven environmental initiatives, culminating in the development of a thousand-acre natural reserve known as the ITAMCO Restoration Project.

The ITAMCO Restoration Project began in 1997 with the Woodland Replenishment program, by which 300-acres of hardwood forest were planted. The Wetland Reclamation program, beginning in 2000, created a 30-acre lake within the reserve. This wetland has become a veritable habitat for numerous species of fish and migratory birds. The ongoing Wildlife Conservation program effectively manages numerous local animal species including whitetail deer, turkey and pheasant, geese, and duck.

ITAMCO and SJRMC

Since 1999, ITAMCO has partnered with The Foundation of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center as the lead donor at the annual Catch the Spirit gala to raise funds for the Center of Care Endowment Fund. The investment in this fund will provide quality, compassionate, faith-based care for the underserved of Marshall County in perpetuity at the Saint Joseph Health Center on Washington Street.
